Packaging Technologist
Packaging technologists set up technically sophisticated, computer-controlled production machines, for example embossing, cutting and gluing machines, convert them, ensure an error-free production process and take measures to guarantee quality. The development and production of environmentally friendly and innovative folding cartons made from card board forms part of this computer-aided area of work, as does the manufacturing of cutting dies.
Candidates must have successfully completed their school education, have a good eye for colour, be technically skilled and enjoy workling with machinery and computers.
